A 12-year old boy from Washington State fell in a well on Tuesday during recess.
In a press statement, fire officials in Marysville said that they responded to the 911 call shortly after 12:20 pm when they found the boy in a well.
officials reported that the boy claimed he had been standing on the concrete cover of the well at recess time when it “collapsed,” sending him “down the well.”
The firefighters discovered the boy “holding on to a plastic tube about 20 feet into the well.” They added that he was “partially under water and unable touch the bottom.”

According to a press release from Marysville, Washington fire officials, firefighters responded to the 911 call shortly after 12:20 pm and found the boy in a well.
The boy, despite suffering head lacerations, was “able to follow orders” and conscious.

After firefighters had lowered a ladder into the well, the boy was able climb back up.

On Tuesday, a 12-year-old Washington boy fell into a deep well after the concrete lid of the well collapsed.
Officials report that the boy has been taken to a hospital local, where his condition is listed as stable.
