Ted Cruz, Texas Senator, appeared on Monday’s Hannity to make a prediction regarding Donald Trump and Merrick Garland.
Cruz stated during an interview conducted by Sean Hannity, Fox News’ host, that he believes Merrick Garland is going to indict Donald Trump. “He hates Donald Trump and wants to indict him. He hates him. He’s angry. Merrick Garland was angry when he didn’t get confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice.

Attorneys representing Trump were at the Department of Justice Monday, as Jack Smith is reportedly close to a decision regarding charges of obstruction of justice and storage of classified documents by resisting government efforts to retrieve materials. Trump claims that he had declassified the documents he held before leaving office, and was entitled to them.
Cruz argued that Garland’s DOJ will focus on pursuing false obstruction charges, because investigators discovered other top executives including President Joe Biden and Former Vice President Mike Pence improperly held classified documents after leaving office.
Cruz added, “He’s not saying that the classified documents underlying them were a crime. He’d also have to indict Joe Biden.” “He will instead invent a crime over a non-crime.” This will be the basis for the indictment.
Cruz stated that Garland would only act on matters of personal concern, “dealing primarily with Hunter’s drug and gun issues and tax concerns which have nothing to do Joe Biden. This DOJ wants Joe Biden to be protected and insulate from the corruption within his family and wants to use Hunter Biden to justify targeting Donald Trump.
