Watch Elon Musk explain why people on the left aren’t funny

Twitter CEO Elon Musk sat down with satirical news site The Babylon Bee to discuss a wide range of topics on Wednesday, including his acquisition of Twitter and why the left isn’t funny.

Elon Musk, Twitter’s CEO, sat with The Babylon Bee on Wednesday to discuss various topics including his acquisition by Twitter and why the Left isn’t funny.

Kyle Mann, editor-in-chief at the Babylon Bee asked Musk: “What are your favorite comedy shows and entertainment programs?” “I know that you like to share memes, and you comment on Babylon Bee articles, and other stuff. You tweeted, or you commented on how wokeness was destroying comedy. It was that you couldn’t write comedy from a leftist position of wokeness, because there is no truth claim. I’m butchering the piece.”

Musk replied, “The essence is that a lot comedy is revealed truth. It’s like a secret truth people intuitively or explicitly understand.” “There’s this sort of moment, you know kernel of truth of often unacknowledged fact, that is revealed.” Musk responded. In that unacknowledged reality is the humor.

“So, if your joke is based on a lie, it’s impossible to be funny because there is no truth revealed,” he continued. “And that’s why, you know, a lot people on the Left don’t have a sense of humor. They are not funny. “If there are so many no-fly zones that you must avoid, then there is nothing to laugh about.”
