Michelle Obama spoke out in support of her bookThe Light We Carry. She said she could not stand her husband, future President Barack Obama, for 10 years while their daughters were young. They were also building careers.
She spoke to Revoltin December and said that she thought I was being catty because she said this. It’s like 10 years ago, I couldn’t stand my husband. Guess when that happened? The former First Lady stated that it happened when the children were very young.
“For ten years, while we were trying to build our careers, and worrying about school, who was doing what, I was like, ‘Argh! This isn’t even,'” she said.
“And guess what? “And guess what? Marriage is not 50/50. Ever. Sometimes I’m 70 and he’s thirty. He can be 60 or 40 at times. Guess what? It’s been ten years. We have been married for 30 years.
