Hanity’s Thursday night edition featuredguest Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, R. Johnson slammed Christopher Wray (FBI Director) for failing to “restore the integrity and credibility” of the FBI. Johnson was not afraid to light up Wray.
He said, “You know Sean, Director Wray was director in 2017.” He said, “Under his supervision, the FBI briefed Senate intel committee March 2018 that stated that the Steele dossier was in good standing even though it had been contaminated with Russian disinformation. His watch was on Hunter Biden’s laptop, which the FBI took in December 2019. They did not do anything with it. According to whistleblowers they devised a scheme to minimize the derogatory information and deep-six their investigation under his supervision in August 2020.
Johnson said, “Under his supervision in that same month they provided an unwelcome briefing Senator Grassley to me,” Johnson added. Johnson said, “It was nothing briefing. It was obvious to me that it was a set up. Nine months later, they released the information at “The Washington Post” in order to smear and interfere with the U.S. Senate election in 2022 Wisconsin. They also interfered with the 2020 election. They also interfered with the 2016 election. As the new FBI director, his primary task was to restore credibility and integrity. He has failed spectacularly. He has failed miserably.
