According to Maine State Police, a suspect was arrested Sunday in Arkansas for the death of an employee in Waterville in Maine.

State police reported that the police in Flippin, Arkansas found a 20-year old man sleeping in a car park.

Authorities said he fled in a car and police pursued him. They were only able to disable the vehicle with spike strips after Arkansas State Police deployed them. The chase ended in Boone County on Highway 65. Police said that the suspect got out of his car and fired shots after he had a rifle.

Police said that the suspect is expected to live after being transported by life-flight to a medical center in Green County Missouri. Arkansas State Police is investigating the shooting.

The suspect has been airlifted from Green County in Missouri to a medical facility.

The Maine State Police announced Thursday that the injured male was a person-of-interest in the murder of Angela Bragg of Waterville. Her body was found early the next morning by a fellow employee at Damon’s beverage. She died from a sharp force injury.
