George Soros’ Southampton Village in New York was reportedly swatted Saturday. The billionaire joins a long list of high-profile people who have been victims of 911 pranks during the last few weeks.
The New York Post reported the Southampton Village Police Department had received a 911 Call just before 9 pm on Saturday. The caller claimed to have shot his wife at Old Town Road and threatened to commit suicide.
The publication quoted Southampton Village Detective Sergeant Herman Lamison, who said that officers rushed to scene but found out the call was false.
Southampton Village Police (including Lamison) did not respond immediately to Fox News Digital’s inquiries on the subject.

The Post reported that it had obtained a recording of police radio traffic where an officer who was dispatched to the scene stated they had spoken to security and searched the premises, concluding it to be a “negative issue.”
Soros has backed dozens far-left prosecutor candidate candidates in several cities, as part of his effort to overhaul the criminal Justice System. These include Larry Krasner, Kim Foxx, in Chicago, and former DA Kim Gardner, in St. Louis, among others.
The work Soros is doing to reform the criminal justice system goes beyond prosecutors.

Future Forward USA Action, a nonprofit advocacy group in the Soros-funded Open Society Foundations Network, received $15,18 million in 2022 from the Open Society Policy Center for “content testing” and research on critical policy issues.
Records show that the nonprofit organization is closely tied to President Biden’s outside super PAC, which will evaluate crucial policy issues for the 2024 elections.
According to a Federal Election Commission search, since the 2020 election, Future Forward USA Action – which does not identify their donors – has steered more than $77 million towards the Future Forward PAC. During this time, the PAC has raised approximately $181 million. This means that over 40% of the Biden PAC funds were from its dark money affiliated nonprofit.
Soros has been the latest high-level person to be targeted in recent weeks.
