In a recent interview with Fox News Bretbaier, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas learned a shocking statistic: More than 70% of migrants who are encountered at the southern U.S. border are released.

Mayorkas was not at all shocked by the large number of migrants released.

Baier asked Mayorkas: “Would you be surprised to learn that CBP officials say they release more than 70% — and even more — of the migrants who cross every day?”

“It wouldn’t surprise me in the least.” Mayrokas: “I know the data.”

Since Joe Biden became president, more than 8,000,000 migrant encounters were recorded. CBP set a record last month with over 300,000 migrant interactions logged on the southern border.
