A criminal complaint confirmed that more than 20 videos of sex acts between a Florida Art Teacher and her former 8th-grade student were filmed at a car and in hotels across three counties.
According to documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Marie-Jo Gordo faces three charges of sexually exploitation a minor as well as federal child pornography, filed on October 25.
Gordo entered a not guilty plea on Jan. 8, via a waiver signed. He is due to appear before an Orlando court in January 18. Gordo’s lawyer, Phillip Arroyo could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.
Orange County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to Fox News Digital that she has been released on bond following her arrest in October.

According to court documents, approximately 28 videos showing Marie-Jo Gordo and her former 8th-grade student engaging in sexual activity on her victim’s cellphone were recovered.
After the boy’s mom contacted the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to report the abuse, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office found 28 videos on the phones of Gordo. Metadata was used by the Orange County Digital Forensics Unit to determine the location of the videos.
Gordo worked at an Orange County school that was not identified in court documents before resigning. She was hired to teach art at another county school, which is also unnamed. She taught students from kindergarten through eighth grade.

In 2019, the boy was in her 8th-grade class, according to court documents. Gordo, the boy told police, was his school’s religious ambassador.

After watching the videos, a FBI task force agent working with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office conducted an interview with the student.
The student said that between June 2023 and September 2023, he met with Gordo in hotels and his former teacher’s vehicle.

Gordo was ordered to unlock her Apple iPhone 11 as well as any other devices she owns for police investigation. It is not known if there was more evidence on her device.
