Podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan stressed the importance of religion during a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience. Rogan said now would be a good time for Jesus to come back; “We need Jesus,” Rogan said while describing the deterioration of society.
“As time rolls on, people are going to understand the need to have some sort of divine structure to things. Some sort of belief in the sanctity of love and truth…and a lot of that comes from religion,” Rogan says. “Unfortunately, a lot of intelligent people dismiss a lot of the positive aspects of religion because they think it’s just superstitious fairy tales.”
“We need Jesus, I think for real,” Rogan said laughing, adding that now would be a good time for Jesus to come back; “Now would be a good time.”
