The federal judge overseeing a case involving charges against Hunter Biden over gun possession has denied efforts by the president’s son to have the case dismissed.

The judge’s ruling on Friday comes after Biden was indicted in September in federal court in Delaware on three counts tied to possession of a gun while using narcotics.

The five motions to dismiss were denied after a blanket rejection by a federal judge in California on tax charges against Biden.

An attorney for Biden did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Friday night.

The trial is scheduled to begin June 3 in Delaware and last approximately a week, according to the judge.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
