Could New York be in play?
Early Thursday morning before heading over to the courtroom for his hush money trial, Donald Trump dropped in on construction workers at the site of the new JPMorgan Chase headquarters in Midtown Manhattan.
Trump spoke with union members and members of the press. The former President and 2024 GOP presidential nominee said he was “going to run very hard in New York” in the months leading up to the presidential election.
“We’re gonna run very hard in New York. We have a good chance of winning New York, in my opinion, but we’re gonna give it a shot.”

While shaking hands and signing hats for supporters, Trump said “I did nothing wrong. It’s a political witchhunt. It’s election interference, that’s all it is.” The crowd broke into chants of “USA! USA!”
