DeSANTIS HITS HAWKEYE : Ron Rips Joe In Iowa, Vows To ‘Send him Back to His Basement.’ [WATCH]

DeSantis was on the attack in Iowa Tuesday night.

DeSantis went on the offensive in Iowa, Tuesday night.

Ron DeSantis, Florida governor and presidential candidate for 2024, is on the campaign trail. He shares his vision of America and takes aim at presumed Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

DeSantis appeared at Eternity Church, located in Clive just west of Des Moines. This was the beginning of his 12-city, three-state tour, which also included New Hampshire and South Carolina.

“It’s great to be here.” DeSantis said, “It’s wonderful to be able to announce that our great American return begins by sending Joe Biden to his basement in Delaware.” “I mean, since he has spent so much time as President on vacation, it’s only fair that we make this permanent.” DeSantis told the crowd.

DeSantis said, “Leadership is not entertainment at the end of day.” It’s not just about creating a brand. It’s not about virtue-signaling. It’s about results. In Florida, we did not lead with words alone, but we followed our words up with deeds. We have a record of achievement that we could put up against anyone in this country.”

DeSantis also attacked the debt deal made by Kevin McCarthy, Speaker of House.

He said: “We see Washington has cooked up their new ‘debt agreement.’ I can tell that our nation was careening toward bankruptcy before the deal and will still be careening to bankruptcy after this deal.”

This is a green light for $4 trillion of new debt in under two years. We took almost 200 years to reach $4 trillion of debt. The COVID-era spending levels are locked in. It keeps 98% the 87,000 new IRS Agents that Joe Biden introduced.”

DeSantis is returning to Iowa for a fundraising event with Senator Joni Ernest (R-IA) on Saturday.
