Fox News reporter Peter Doocy questioned Karine Jean-Pierre, White House press secretary, if President Biden believes that Republican voters pose a threat to Democracy.
Doocy asked, “Following up your comment that an alarming number Republicans are saying that they won’t accept election results, does this mean that President Biden believes it is a threat the democracy if someone votes Republican?”
Jean-Pierre replied, “No, that’s ridiculous, no.”
He asked, “Why is this a ridiculous question?”
“Because the American people ought to be able to vote for who they like. The president believes that voting is a sacred human right and that he will protect it at all costs. Jean-Pierre stated that he has taken steps to safeguard the right of vote and that Democrats in Congress are also working to ensure the right to vote. “We’re talking about mega-MAGA Republican representatives who claim they support police but are also pro insurrectionist. It is impossible to be both pro-police but also pro-insurrectionist. They also want to defund FBI. This is a problem.
