Tim Scott, a 2024 presidential candidate from South Carolina and a senator of The View in the United States, retaliated against women of Fox News who accused him of “Clarence Thomas Syndrome” on Monday night.
Scott claims that his story proves the lies of the left.
From Fox News
Goldberg’s host Sunny Hostin claimed that Scott has a “issue” because he thinks that “everyone” can succeed, even though he came from a poor Black family living in the South.
Scott said that Hostin was wrong when she stated his story as “the exception and not the rule.”
“Meekness does not mean weakness.” I believe in the Gospel. I believe Matthew 5 is 44, which says to love your enemies — but if you break into my house, I will also believe in Second Amendment,” Scott said.
“We must ignore the extreme left and disprove their lies with our actions. Sunny, the host, wants to be judged on the basis of her character and not her color. “America is a story about evolution, a story that is never told in our schools. They are indoctrinating children instead of educating them.”
Scott said that he was the norm, not the exception. Every American child who is matriculating in a failing school can blame the left-wing unions of teachers for not receiving a good education.
“Every parent that wants to have a choice. You can look to the Republican Party. Look at the GOP but, more importantly, see what Americans think.
…
Scott responded to his critics’ general tone by saying that “my life is a disproof of the lies of radical left”, and their “culture victimhood” is destroying the soul of America.
