A new poll has shown that Arizona GOP gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake is ahead by two weeks in comparison to Katie Hobbs, the Democratic candidate for the Grand Canyon State.
According to the Fox 10 Phoenix and Insider advantage surveys, Lake is at 54%, compared with Hobbs’ 43%.
From Red State
Lake, a former Fox 10 Phoenix news anchor, has been hard at work on the campaign trail the past weeks. She has held numerous events in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area as well as throughout the state. Lake, who is on an “Ask Me Anything Tour”, held a concert in Morristown, Arizona with John Rich and Tennessee Sen. MarshaBlackburn. Her televised interview via the Citizens Clean Elections Commission aired last weekend. Republican Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, and former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabrield supported her at recent events.
Hobbs is still campaigning but she has been more discreet and has had less access to the press.
Lake criticized Hobbs during a recent appearance for being a debate dodger, and hiding in basements –like Joe Biden. Lake also called Hobbs a “twice convicted racist.”
“While she was the minority leader in the State Senate, Katie Hobbs fired Katie Hobbs from her position as a single black mom who asked for equal pay with her white colleagues. Two federal convictions were handed down against her for racial and sexual discrimination. Katie Hobbs has been twice convicted of racism and she is unfit to be our Governor,” Lake tweeted with a video.
